1) General Rules

• Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle.

• Keep your speed below 80 km/h.

• Avoid using cell phones or consuming alcohol while driving.

• Do not leave valuables visible in the car to prevent damage and avoid unfortunate incidents.

• Do not sit on the seats with wet clothing.

2) Cleaning Fees

• If the vehicle was received clean, it must be returned clean. A cleaning fee of  25 XCG (or 35 XCG for SUVs) will be charged if the car is returned dirty.

• In cases of excessively dirty conditions requiring extra cleaning or deodorizing (such as spillage of fluids, food, vomit, stains, unpleasant odors, including cigarette smoke), a cleaning fee of 150 XCG will be charged.

3) Key Charges

• If the car key is locked inside the vehicle, a charge of 25 XCG will apply to bring the spare key.

• If a remote car key is lost or damaged, 280 XCG will be charged for programming a new key.

4) Tire Damage

• The renter is responsible for any tire repairs or replacements, even if the renter has paid for the All Risk Insurance.

5) Late Return

• A late fee of 25 XCG will be charged if the car is returned within 6 hours of the agreed return time.

• After 6 hours, a full day of rental will be charged.

6) No Refund on Early Return

• No refund will be given if the car is returned early.

• In case of non-return, all costs related to the recovery of the car are at the renter’s expense.

7) Prolongation

• The renter must notify GoGo Car Rental at least 2 days before the return date for any extension. Failure to do so may result in losing the right to extend the rental. All terms and conditions will remain the same unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8) Replacement Transport

• If further driving with the rented vehicle is impossible due to a defect, the renter is entitled to a replacement vehicle at no extra cost. If no replacement is available, a refund for unused days will be provided.

9) Liability for Damages

• The renter indemnifies GoGo Car Rental against liability for damages or injuries caused to goods or persons transported by the rented vehicle.

• Any costs exceeding the insured amount of  150,000 XCG will be the renter’s responsibility.

10) Accident or Unknown Damages

• If the renter is involved in an accident or causes damage to the vehicle and has not chosen All Risk Insurance, the renter is responsible for up to 20,000 XCG in repair costs.

• With All Risk Insurance, the renter’s responsibility is limited to the deductible amount per incident.

11) Authorized Drivers

• Only individuals listed on the Rental Agreement may drive the vehicle. If an unauthorized driver operates the vehicle, GoGo Car Rental reserves the right to confiscate the vehicle without refunding the prepaid rent or deposit.

12) Termination of Agreement

• GoGo Car Rental has the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time if the vehicle is not being carefully used by the renter or an unauthorized driver. Any disputes can be discussed in the Court of Eerste Aanleg, Curaçao.

All Risk Insurance (CDW & TP)

CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) & TP (Theft Protection) are optional but recommended. Our vehicles are insured against “Third Party” damage only, not All-Risk. If the renter chooses CDW & TP, the maximum liability for damage or loss will be limited to the deductible amount.

CDW Void Conditions
CDW is void if damage or loss results from:

• Intentional, reckless conduct (e.g., texting while driving).

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Exceeding the speed limit.

• Using the vehicle for towing, pushing, or commercial purposes.

• Operating the vehicle on unpaved roads, if the damage is caused by the road conditions.

• The vehicle being used for illegal activities or in speed tests.

• Unauthorized drivers.

TP Void Conditions
TP is void if the vehicle is stolen due to negligence or involvement of an unauthorized driver. In case of theft, report to the local police and provide GoGo Car Rental with a copy of the report. The keys must also be returned to GoGo Car Rental.
